Homes for Sale in Oak Knoll, Pasadena, CA
Oak Knoll is a lovely neighborhood located in the southern region of Pasadena, CA. It is roughly bordered by the intersection of Oak Knoll Circle and Kewen Drive to the north, Los Robles Avenue to the west, Ramiro Road to the south, and Encino Drive to the east. The neighborhood’s first significant improvement was its subdivision in 1886 when it became part of Southern California’s great 1880s land boom. It captured various home buyers’ attention because the neighborhood’s streets went with the canyon rims’ curves. Because of its unique structure, it became the first Pasadena subdivision that followed the brand-new planning methods of Frederick Law Olmsted, a landscape architect in the 1869 Chicago Suburb of Riverside. After some time, the market collapsed and reverted to being pasture once again. But in 1905, a real estate developer, William R. Staats, decided to give the neighborhood another chance. Today, it is filled with properties that world-class Southern California builders made.
Homes for sale in Oak Knoll have Modern, Contemporary, Southwest, and Georgian architectural designs, making them appear cohesive despite their difference in styles. There are three forms of settlements offered in the area: condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes. Most of the properties vary in age, but the usual range is from 1910 to 2003. Condominiums cost around $580,000 to $950,000. These units feature two to three bedrooms, two to four bathrooms, and 1,200 to 1,900 square feet of living area. Townhomes are also available for $600,000 to $850,000, with two to three bedrooms and bathrooms. They enjoy spacious lot areas ranging from 0.22 to 0.29 acres and 1,200 to 1,700 square feet of floor area. Lastly, single-family homes in Oak Knoll cost between $860,000 up to $14.2 million apiece. They enjoy two to seven huge bedrooms and two to thirteen bathrooms. These properties have 0.20 to 1.25 acres of lot area, which means that most of these homes enjoy grand spaces. The properties also have 7,200 to 17,100 square feet of floor area. Indeed, these single-family homes are luxurious and targeted towards affluent home buyers.
