Oak Knoll is a lovely neighborhood located in the southern region of Pasadena, CA. It is roughly bordered by the intersection of Oak Knoll Circle and Kewen Drive to the north,  Los Robles Avenue to the west, Ramiro Road to the south, and Encino Drive to the east. The neighborhood’s first significant improvement was its subdivision in 1886 when it became part of Southern California’s great  1880s land boom. It captured various home buyers’ attention because the neighborhood’s streets went with the canyon rims’ curves. Because of its unique structure, it became the first Pasadena subdivision that followed the brand-new planning methods of Frederick Law Olmsted, a landscape architect in the 1869 Chicago Suburb of Riverside. After some time, the market collapsed and reverted to being pasture once again. But in 1905, a real estate developer, William R. Staats, decided to give the neighborhood another chance.
